That is a great days hunting! The diamond ring looks like a beauty 
I would get back to the lake ASAP and get hunting again. It could be that the sand has gone down a few feet, and targets are fresh for the taking. If your friend hunting there also found that gold toe ring then I would imagine something like that has happened. Did the place look different from normall? I hope you find some more gold there soon, good luck
