NO benchmark but the shank is still movable. The musket ball has been cut into. What do you think, maybe used as a game piece? Checkers, chess?

It didn't come from Beckys yard Don, so you might get lucky again, I haven't hunted it but one time since you left.

This yard was smaller than most living rooms,Thats where I found that well worn half last year.

charlie, I resized them, two of them are 640x480 and one is 360x480, as you can see the larger pictures work fine bud, maybe you did something wrong charlie, they seem to work for me, hope this helps, Ray.

You said you found a Civil War button with a piece of lead inside of it? Did I read your post right? That means you would have had to take the button apart to get the lead out, right? I'm so confused.

As far as posting pictures, the forum munchkins just recently slightly reduced the size of the photos allowed to be posted on the forum. But you should still be able to post a 9 x 9" photo. A photo that size will fill in the viewing screen nicely (if the person's computer is set on "full screen" in the views option). I have re-done your button to a 9 x 9" photo; of course, the pixels are messed up, because I have made a small picture larger, but I'm just showing you it can be done; and as I said before, I do the picture size in inches instead of pixels. Hope this helps.
