My Best bit of Silver, a change from the normal

Hi All

I had a good day out yesterday. Out on a stubble field in NW UK just outside Liverpool, warm and dry which makes a nice change for this part of the UK.
Found this silver brooch or fob or it could even be a military badge. Silver Hallmark from Birmingham 1904 and maker identified also.
The silver coin is a 1816 Bulls head sixpence in quite good condition located about 7" down.
The copper coin although its seen better days, it is a rare 1845 Victoria halfpence and quite a bit bigger from the later penny coins.

Had the T2 for a few months now and love it to bits. Light, easy to use and picks up the smallest bits of metal even when set up as I normally have it, sens on 70, discrim 5 and tones 2+.

Good hunting to all and enjoy.

Great finds, love the silver coins.
Good settings. Why don't you run the sensitivity higher though?

Great finds. I am envious.

Must admit I have found sensitivity set at 70 picks up the smallest of metal flakes without any back chatter. On this outing I was sifting through the soil and picking out metal no bigger than 3-4mm from my first spade full, so I dont think I am missing much but different conditions will need different settings.
I could try going higher, but as I am still new 70 has worked well so far. I will have a play around depending on the ground conditions in the next few outings.
Thanks for comments.

Update, I have been advised that the silver item is a fob off an Albert watch chain circa 1900-1910, so matches the date on the hallmark.

Cheers All.
