It Is The Best Shape Barber or any other Coin I have ever Found!

The Gene Autry Gun still has original colors but I am concerned about how to clean it since now that it is above ground it is Fragile

Great finds!!! I have found 5 Barber Dimes. Four of them have been 1903's. Interesting
congrats,

Eva!! Beautiful find and really splendid shape. How exciting is that to find a Barber in a hunted out park.

Hope you are well!!!

I am slow in in the silver department for almost two weeks now. My last silver was a war nickel and a sterling silver ring. I hunted for 8 hours or so yesterday and 8 today. I still had fun though. Found lots of wheats - a 1920 one was the earliest. A Teddy Roosevelt presidential coin, a button, and the first 45 adapter made (http://arcmusic.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/webster_chicago.jpg). Pretty interesting but dry on the silver. Oh well...patience.

Rob did very well today a Canadian silver dime and he also found a 1911 Barber dime.

Wow that Barber looks almost brand-new, that gun is nice and all the rest of your finds are cool congratulations :clapping:

Nice dime that is in great shape. It looks like it might be a full liberty coin even. Pretty!!

The cap pistol is pretty nice too. How would you conserve something of pot metal?

I was fortunate enough to find a worn out 1901 Barber dime yesterday at one of the oldest houses in town. We were hunting college property next door when the owner came by and gave us permission to hunt his yard (I have been drooling over this house for years). We ended up with 6 wheaties, the dime and a pin from the Southeastern Commercial Congress held in Charleston, SC December 13-17, 1915.

Amazing looking Barber! I wish they all came out of the ground looking that good - it's hard to find Rosies that look that nice. Congrats!
