My arm cuff broke today.

I was swinging away and all of a sudden I feel excessive play in my swing. I took it off and my arm cuff had split on one side all the way down the seam. I quess it hit hard on a soft target. Does anyone know where I can get an arm cuff?

Call Garrett 1 800 527 4011, ask for Hilda or Sue, tell them what happened and they will look after you.

You need to call Garrett, they should be able to get one out to you in a couple of days.

You may want to ask them if they are having some problems with the arm cuff, I have seen several post with the same problem.

Hi Guys !

I have had some bad experience with my cuff because I replaced two .
I discover what is wrong with it and when you use armrest strap be aware to use too much force .

Mine broke 2 weeks ago. Made the call on a Monday and had a new Cuff the following Saturday. Ready to hunt the weekend!! Garrett is FANTASTIC!!!!

I agree Garrett is fantastic, but if they have a small design problem, I would hope they would at some point correct it and start sending out revised arm cuffs as needed.

Yep, mine snapped too. Superglued and siliconed it and it snapped in another place.

Garrett will take care of you, and no doubt it will be gratis because that's the way their stellar customer service operates. And I'd be surprised if they don't have a more sturdy cuff in use in the near future.

happened to me too . i was pissed cuz i still wanted to detect. hard with the cuff broken. garrett did replace it but in the mean time 2 things u can do to get thru till it gets there. 1st to get thru the hunt i kept my right thumb on the control box so i could keep swinging. when i got home tried glueing it . good luck with that just broke again. i just got out sum duck tape and a coat hanger. . worked great until the new 1 got there. looked like crap but hey what can u do

These cuff brackets blow. I'm on my third one. Garrett replaces them no problem does you little good when your out in the woods.

Mine broke too now as soon as I get a new detector the plastic comes off and I make a new one with a stand on the bottom with aluminum strips works great supper light weight and will never brake.
I did my AT Pro and Ace 250 and my Minelab 705 like this.I thought if I replaced it with plastic ones it would just break again

Received a gratis arm cuff replacement on Tues, from Garrett. Got back out with the pro today found two mercuries ,12 wheaties, an English 2 pence,a silver war nickle,a buffalo,a North American Hunting club token and 4 clad dimes and 14 memorial pennies. It's good to be back.
