for the crap thats been posted here the last few days. Forums are no place for personal vendettas.or squabbles. You'll hear no more of it from me. My apologies to Findmall.....the forum moderators (with one notable exception), Fisher....and most importantly the fine folks that post here. You guys deserve better, and I know you come here to discuss your hobby....and to learn.......just like I do.
Again......sorry for the crap that SHOULD have been dealt with in private. I just felt the need to defend my favorite brand of detector....and the integrity of the guys and gals that make them. Nothing more...nothing less....Now......let get back to detecting!!!! Streak!

Some detectors just work better in some areas and dial in personal preferences and we sometimes have a conflict..Myself love a good debate but certainly respect others feelings so indeed lets move on. No winners no losers but we can all learn from debates...

Keep throwing your digs in, but guess what Kim? This one notable exception happens to be the host that started these forms with Mr. Bill LONG before you ever touched a Fisher detector (& I'm not going anywhere). You were just one of the many who jumped on the F75 bandwagon like P. Eles & everyone MONTHS (or close to a year?) after I had been testing and using the F75 prototype before the JL mode (and that's my coin on the box even). Now all of a sudden you come into these forums a Fisher expert acting, hyping, and name dropping like Mike Scott and Dave Johnson have been your pals for years.....(myself and the fellow longtime finds forum Fisher users can see right through ya).

I never had a problem with you until I found out you called Mike complaining that I hadn't used the F70 at the DIV hunt (that's grade school tattle tale stuff Kim).

Full of lies and more foolish crap like I don't know how to metal detect, lie to Mike, etc. You really are making yourself look stupid Kim (& now I see why you appologized). Everyone here has seen my museam quality collection, and I would be willing to bet I found more valuable relics by age 13 than you have your whole life (saw you just found your first flying eagle & never found a Silver dollar). Your jealousy of me is very apparent to all of the forum members. I suppose since your new to Fisher you don't know too much yet. The regulars here, and Mike S. himself all have seen pictures of my finds, pictures of me speaking to large audiences, read my field tests, watched my DVD's, seen me on the covers of magazines and cataloges, asked me to autograph things......
All things you have never done, and never will come close to.....(that's far more hobby accomplishments than just "an appearance on a antique show" Kim).
You like a good debate huh, Kim? Well you got your hands full now 'cause this is my house.....(so run along now & call Mike Scott again). I think you 2 know by now no matter how hard he tries he can't stop me from hosting here and saying what I want.
One more stupid post about me, and you'll be gone & can go post at Mike's pal the Mayor's, or go host your own forum. Hey, here's an idea, maybe you guys should share a tent at one of TR's hunts & really get aquainted

So, hopefully nobody got the wrong idea that I all of a sudden hate the F75. I use it quite often as it runs very well here & is very good on things I'm after like buttons & musketballs. The real point was that I had a trunk full of other Fisher detectors and coils and I found one that I already knew worked better in that nasty red clay soil because I had hunted that same farm a couple years prior. Simple as that. Other's that had only one detector like the F75 had to live or die with it, and some did, & did pretty well. One friend filled up a case full of buttons after finding out buttons read # 12 on the F75 meter. Hey, that's cool. But when I already have a known commodity sitting in the car, and needed to change my luck for day 2 -3 of the hunt, why not?? I personally dislike any ID number detector in that red clay because it's hard NOT to look at the meter, and the iron oxide makes the #'s go nuts. The 1270 went back to basics of beep/dig detection like I grew up with.....
HH,
Bill

Your gettin to sound JUST like a little fella from Teaxs I know of. All puffed up with on finger in the delete button. why dont you try putting some of that awesome knowledge to work, and make a constructive post for a change???

Your animosity towards Fisher and Mike Scott is appauling. Your aragance too. I wont be posting here as long as you are the moderator. No big loss, to be sure, but I dont need anything that you have to offer, and I certainly dont enjoy reading your antagonist speaches nor your holy than thou attitude. You better look up the definition of the word "moderator" because you apparantly dont know what it means.

I think the guys here benifit a lot from your experience.....and I'd hate to see you go down the road. Aint nothing broken that cant be fixed!!!!
You've helped Me out a lot.and I've seen you make a lot of helpful posts HERE over the years. Stay for the posters......and forget the rest................... Streak!
