These "Old Dogs" may be Old School but they just love to get out
an play! Beleive it or not My Mark-1 Conversion Has the Best Balance and feels lighter compared the GSP and the XL Pro. That will change though when I get the 5.3 coil for the XL. The Dogs and I cant wait till spring.

I Havent had a chance to try the XL Pro and the Gold Scanner. I Just got the XL Pro and the Gold Scanner just returned from Keith Wills.
I think all three will complement each other nicely just as I imagine
yours do.

hey condike!
do you find the m6 recovery speed with the 5.3 eclipse to be faster between targets in trash, than the xl pro with the 5.3 bullseye?..the m6 is a "two filter" design with a higher frequency which in theory,at least is designed to recover from target ro target more quickly, thus reducing the masking effect in heavy trash.was just wondering,in YOUR experience,if you are finding that to be true!

regards!

the xl pro is as good as it gets!.trust me,once you gain confidence with it,(like american express!)..you won't leave home without it!.keep the bullseye" on it,and don't look back!..(h.h!)

regards!

XL-Pro, it is no good. I see since you already have 2 others you can't use all 3 at one time. Therefore send the XL-Pro to me to keep indefintely and I will try it out for you and send the field test, haha, just kidding, great set of detectors and if you have never used a 6000 SL or XL-Pro, you will enjoy,
Take care now,
Steve(MS)

Doug, even Monte has stated somewhere that the 6000 Sl/ XL-Pro may be the best all-around detector, I don't know that I would argue that point. I sold my 6000 several years ago, that is the only detector I wished I would have kept. Use it with a faster sweep speed and if you crank up the signal balance, it has excellent depth. I haven't used all the meter units out there but I and others believe that is has one of the best meter system. You can cover ground quickly with it and not miss much. Not many have spoken badly about it so that ought to tell you something. Hope you enjoy using it,

My Indoor test's that I have done so far are impressive. I have
yet to find out how the analog meter performs in the field. I imagine
it's every bit as good or possibly better than my Teknetics Mark-1.
I received My Gold Scanner pro back just a few days ago . I must
say that this detector will prove to be very useful in Trashy Areas.
It seems to me that the Veri Filter in the Gold Scanner series as well as the Xp Pro that I had are Very fast in recovery response compared to my old Coin Scanner Pro that I had. These "Old Dogs" of mine should prove to work together Very Well.

hi doug!
as stated in aprevious post, try to get a 5.3 coil for it if you can!
due to the tremendous amount of trash in the ground this coil is the best accessory you can purchase for the pro!the meter is extremely accurate, and the pro will also give an accurate meter reading on coins that do NOT show a lot of "mass" to the coil!..(example!).coins that are tilted or almost straight up and down in the ground!..althought the meter won't "lock" in these particular situations, you will get a coini indication from"angle" sweeps, along with enough "smooth",but "broken" audio to make you WANT to investigate further!..the damn detector is just great, once you understand what it is trying to tell you!..it truly is a "ball buster" on coins!..best of luck!..(h.h!)

regards!

Thanks jmaryt

Just Got a Bullseye 5.3. Should be ready to go

yeah!..that's great!..the detector is a "terror" on side walk easements with the "bullseye,or the "black max" on board!..you WILL love it!..(h.h!

regards!
