My "Aha" moment with the 8x6 SEF

I have had the Explorer SE Pro for about a month now and the 8x6 coil for a few weeks. I have found some good stuff with both and am very pleased with my purchase. After hearing about this small coil and its capabilities I was waiting for my eye opening moment when it found an item I would not have found with any other machine. Yesterday was that day. Went hunting with AHunter at a small park. Right off the bat found two wheats so we knew this park had not been picked clean. About an hour later I got a 14-28, 12-27 with an occasional 6-26 mixed in. Eight inches down (full eight, not guessing) I pulled out a 1904 Indian. Also in the hole was a rusty nail and half a bottle cap about six inches down. A little while after that I was getting roughly the same signals with a 4-28 about every third sweep. At six inches got a 1920 merc along with two nails. With any coil on the SE Pro go sloooooow and listen to every signal. If a good signal appears and its half way deep dig. Great machine, great coil. Ended the day with six wheats, 2 Indians and 2 mercs and still have 2/3 of the park to hunt. HH
