I ordered it on monday and it arrived today! now THAT is service. WOW..........thing that sucks is the weather is horrible!!!!!

You can put a plastic bag over the head and hunt if it's raining. If there is snow on the ground you can sweep the soft snow. If there is ice the coil glides right over it. If there is molten lava just wrap yourself in tin foil. If there is a tornado you can use a divers weight belt. If you hunt in lightning make sure you run a grounding rod from the top of your head directly and dragging the ground. These are just a few more tips if the weather is bad. Good luck!

Up here the snow all melted and I had a week of bonus January detecting. Then it got cold again and now, without some snow to insulate it, the ground is frozen down about a foot or more. I'm glad I don't have a new toy or I'd be bouncing off the walls. You are in for a treat when you get out with your new rig. My experience was about a week of getting to know what to dig and how to pinpoint etc, and then all of a sudden it was like somebody threw a switch and the loot just started piling up. In 3 months with my 250 I found about 3000 coins, 5 gold rings, 20 or so silver items, and tons of other great relics. I hope you are as successful. Please familiarize yourself with how to post photos because most of us enjoy looking at anything that has been dug up. Heck, in February, I'd settle for photos of pull tabs or foil.

Good luck.

Chris

I got some nice pull tabs - actually got a nice square tab with a beautiful green color to it a month or so ago - my first green square - and I might have saved it here somewhere - lol

well I am not on the couch....lol
I just got home from work and we are getting hammered with snow as we speak, supposed to get 6-10" tonight

I might have spoken too soon.

How about: Heck, in February I'd settle for a photo of badly corroded zinc pennies.

Very funny.

Sorry to hear that.
We got real lucky down in Central IN.
I got up tis morning thinking I was going to
be out shoveling S&@# and there was almost
NOTHING on the ground. But it is icy so
the driving conditions are not good right now.
The sfuff should be gone by this Monday
or tuesday as tems are supposed to be in the
40's.

I swear, 8 years of this crap is enough.
I've got to get outa here!!!!!!

Much better.

Chris

Sure wish I could go find a few of those "beauties."

That's what I said about 137 years ago when I left Illinois and headed for sunny California. Only returned twice - to bury my stepdad and later my mom. One has to be masochistic to spend a lifetime back there.

unless you've been :buds:too much.
