My 7.5kHz, 10.5" round DD coil arrived today

UPS stomped on the box as usual, but the coil looks and works fine so I guess no real harm done.

I've been waiting for Ron@Dixie to get some new ones in, but the delay encouraged me to get a used one from him instead. Shoot, it looks like a new one so I probably got the better deal.

Thanks Ron!

Looks like I'm set. Hope to use it soon.

I think you'll like that coil Mike. At first it feels a lot heavier than the stock coil, but you get used to it real quick. I keep mine on most of the time but change back to the stock coil for hunting tight spots in the woods. Good luck, Ron

I put my 7.5 DD coil on and I have not taken it off since. I love that coil, it gets great depth and will ID iron 95% of the time when gold hunting.

that is one of the reasons why the 5x10 HF is such a fine nugget finder...

Someone like BT or Digger could probably elaborate or dispell this but I'd rather have the 18.75 kHz 10" over the 7.5 kHz 10" if I was lookin' to dig any gold.

I've been waiting for my DD and 5x10 for 2 months now. I love my Xterra 70, but this is ridiculous. I'll have to think twice before I buy a Minelab again.

Ron Dugger at Dixie had the 5x10 packaged with the Xterra and I got it at the same time I got the machine. I had the round DD on order with him but after waiting about 3weeks I called him and it happened he had a good used coil so I went ahead and bought that one. Looks and works like a brand new coil so I came out saving about 40 bucks on that deal. Had a cover on it too.
