Sorry I don't have a photo yet.My little girl was using her bounty hunter junior today in a yard of an 1800's house and found her first old coin! We were finding the usual nails, copper flashing and memorials.Well the last hole we dug we found a piece of copper flashing but I told her you always recheck your hole. Its a good thing we did as we searched the hole and she saw a coin and picked it up.I knew it was old but and not sure what coin it was. After a little cleaning I was amazed because she found a 1805 draped bust half cent!!! I was beside myself and I think now she is a detectorist for life!

Wow, what an incredible story. Already she's a serious hunter, and I predict it will take you a long, long time to catch up to her.

Awesome way to spend the day!!!

HH y'all.

WOW !!! great find, congratulations to your little treasure hunter.
I remember following my dad on the beaches in Italy and Spain watching him dig up treasures.
some of the best memories of my life. here i am 40+ years later doing the same thing. :)

That is so cool. I can't imagine how proud you must be. You must have been like this..:yikes: Half cents are rare finds. Congrats to your daughter. She will now be detecting for life.
