My 4 year old son's first hunt and he gets an 1823 Matron LC!!

Took my son Carmine to a park to try out his first detector and his second coin found was a holed 1823 Matron head large cent. He was so excited he ran around yelling "YES!" I'm so proud of my lil guy and so happy he's finally old enough to go hunting with me! Metal detecting just got better for me! Nice job buddy!
 
Nice job he's hooked! good hobby for him keep him busy finding treasure!

That is great, Look at the post that reads Large Cent. That is the one I found.I think we found the same coin. I can't read the date, I do see the stars.Great find for the young one. I had to wait 67 years LOL
