My 3rd night hunt, same Park.......

The Rings are hiding from me. All I found tonight were some clad, another toy car,
a cub/boy scout tie clasp and a bottle opened. Great if I drank beer; I prefer a good glass
of wine myself.

Started at 9:00pm and knocked off at 1:00am. Started to get cold out.

The park was relatively dark; only a few lights shown here and there. I was able to stay pretty much hidden
through out the hunt.I was surprised because I had expected to see a patrol car come through but none
showed up. My only light came from my Garrett Pro-pointer and a small LED light I'd shine quickly
on the control box so I could get an idea how deep the target was. The ground was really hard and no target
was past 4 inches deep; there were no dimes, which I find odd but lots of nickels.

Now its time to just kick back, eat, and gain weight.

I really like night hunting too but I normally do mine in the summer when the nights are coo,l not in the spring when they are cold. Got down to the low 30s here last night. That is a very large number of nickels relative to the total number of coins. All that says is the only reason you didn't get a gold ring is because there wasn't one there. At least under your coil there wasn't. I'd say you're doing everything right!

Add a pair of night vision glasses and a whole new world will open up to you. Thanks for the night time experiences

Not a bad haul, you know what they say.....
