My 2009 rings and things

I forgot to put this in my nickel post, but all of these finds were found using the X50 or the X505 and the 10.5 DD MF coil.

14 silver rings, Sterling or 925

6 Gold rings, one is 14 kt and all of the rest are 10 kt. 2 of the 6 rings were Class rings and I was able to return them to the owners.

The second picture is all of the other silver finds for the year.

One of the Class rings I used my camera phone to take the picture so it's not very good.

Since I started MD'ing 4 years ago I have always wanted to find a class ring and to be able to find the owner. Well, this year I was lucky enough to have found 2 of them and was able to track down the owners the same day that I found them. I think it was a bigger thrill for me then it was for the owners of the rings to get them back.

Some of those finds were found with the X505. I had the X50 for 3 1/2 yrs and it was replaced in July of last year with the X505 so those were found with the X50 / X505.
also last year I found 201 silver coins, 743 wheat's and a bunch of other coins with those 2 MD'ers.

The first class ring that I found, the guy wasn't all that happy about getting his ring back. the second ring, the guy got all choked up about getting it back, which made my day.
