Had the machine in de, sensitivity at 85, 3 tones.Tone was strong, but definately deep. I like this machine, especially the weight.

Not completely comfortable with it yet( about 3 months use) , but I am learning. Funny thing I have noticed, Deep larger iron will give me a high tone and meter reads high number? However it seems very accurate for me up to about 7-8". I got a long ways to go yet with it.

Very nice find, Bill. Deep iron does the same on my F75, but the Fe3O4 meter usually id's it as such. Hh jim tn

about the funny thing you noticed. Try this next time. When you get another one of those deep larger iron signals that reads high. PINPOINT it to find the exact center of the signal, and swing over it a bit more briskly and a bit wider. You''ll find that the 75 will ID it MUCH more accurately. I think the high response is largely due to the fact your not swinging over the center of the target, but over the area with the best target response, and iron a lot of time tends to give you a good (Non ferrous) response on the edge of the target. Deep thick iron targets like plow points and horse shoes are one of those things we all have to live with and dig on occasion. Due to their mass and shape, their response is often too good to pass up diggin! (besides, in CW territory, it may be a GREAT target!! ) Streak!
