My 1st white Christmas.....ever.....almost 2 weeks of snow and cold weather

It's been beautiful but after the 1st couple days it started to be a pain....now it's raining which is a more traditional Xmas weather for us. 12" of heavy snow that's now becoming slush....floods to follow right behind, and worse of all, all the steelhead rivers will be unfishable till way after New Years.

Sorry, I don't mean to sound so depressing.....

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS

Don't let the picture fool you, That's a 63 lb fish I'm holding.... and I'm really 9' tall, that's why he only looks like a 8 lb'er

but I've been told they run larger the farther south you get.....they get up into the 20's and rairly into the low 30's here and a 12-15lb is common. My best was a 17lb'r from the Grays River about 15 years ago.

The older I get, the better I was :stretcher: ....and I aint dead yet!!!

Don't even get me started on the White Sturgeon fishing available here

turned down a invite to fish Steelies out of a sled today.
The roads being what they are makes the drive to the upper Cowlitz a bit dicey...Twenty years ago I would have been there in a flash. Or in the ditch on some slippery corner.
Merry Christmas from the Mouth of the Cowlitz
