hey Guys....

Explorer Xs with the 8" pulled this yesterday...After getting it home and doing the research, figured out it's a rare little puppy...1828-1832. The only one sold in modern auction was VG and sold for $1870 in 1990...There is one featured in a current Coin and Token auction coming up in VA...they have it listed at $2500+.....Who knew?

..Still wish it had CS on it somewhere....:)

HH,
brad

That is a really nice Token you have found there! Make sure to enter it in W&E Treasure Magazine for the top 100 best finds of 2006. Congrat's on such a wonderful piece of history and Good Luck and HH on your next return trip.

Just go and buy yourself a copy of Western and Eastern Treasure and there is a form in it that you have to fill out. You will have to send a picture I believe so make it a good clear one and send both a picture of the back and the front. It would be kind of neat to see a find in a national magazine and you could show everyone you know that you made it into a magazine. Good Luck and HH.
