I hit the shore for a few hours on Wednesday,.. weather and tides were great but due to last years replenishment there weren't any targets on the slope... after working the surf for awhile with zero targets decided to work the dry sand on my way back to the car... 1st target was a deep crusty dime , 2nd target was this gold ring which was also fairly deep..spent a couple hrs there, didnt find much else, however i did find a Tobago /Trinidad dime from 1960s..[attachment 363318 IMG_20181208_0752332971-1.png][attachment 363316 IMG_20181208_0752247301.jpg][attachment 363317 IMG_20181208_0751406531.jpg] ring has a repair where the karat mark would have been... acid tested 14k..

Congratulations on the nice beach find.

Very nice find!!! Gold rings are getting harder and harder to find. It's ironic that sometimes we find some really good stuff when we are packing up for the day! I found a heavy 14K ring as I was making my way to the parking lot after a un-fruitful beach hunt some time ago.

Nice find!

Thanks for comments guys.. just for clarification, this is my 1st new jersey gold..as many know ive found my fair share elsewhere lol...
