My 1st Half Cent

Davey

New member
Here's a 1805 draped bust half cent I found last summer that has been soaking in olive oil. The MXT with the stock 950 coil found her at about 5 inches down around an old oak tree next to a circa 1830 homestead. I'll throw it back in the olive oil for a few more months to get it looking better.

Great find Davey. For a 200 year old coin, and God knows how many years in the ground, it looks great.
