...Bein im on vacation end of next week;I decided top break out my 1280X,throw batteries in her;and get her ready-Turned her on and-nothing:(...got to looking at the terminals that extend into the battery compartment,(I always thought that setup on this machine looked cheap to the point of being obscene);the +was almost broken right off,and the - wasnt far from it-SO I took it into the local electronics guy to have the terminals cleaned up,and a new 9V battery lead soldered onto it... Ive already had to replace the 9volt end TWICE;and extend the wiring a couple inches;cause the wiring harness from the factory was so short,it didnt allow any slack,and I mistakenly let it dangle with a full battery pack attatched....
