My 100th silver of 09,,,and the rest

[size=x-large]I went hunting today for a couple hours after work....Had 96 silvers ,and didn't expect to pick up more than one or two today...So I was pleasantly surprised to find 2 rosies,a 45 silver quarter,and a merc....and only dug 3 wheats ? and a small silver religious pendant......I liked the ratio of silver to wheats today....
Here is what I found today[/size]

[size=x-large]Have 393 wheats so far.....but I only took a picture of the Silvers...........2 of the rosies I found in my yard..1 of the rosies found in my yard with my Troy X-3 & dd coil....Missed it with my ET in my yard ???......99 silvers found w/ET Below is pictured all 100......silvers The center piece is the 1919D SLQ I found a few weeks ago...[/size]

Love the silver, any tips for a newbie

Tips ?........Yeah.............Stay in the Standard Coins mode ,and dig all targets 3" and deeper for the first 50 hours (and keeping a log might help you to remember) You will quickly learn that you will want to dig a 12/12 soft audio signal that is shown to be 8" deep....While you will not likely want to dig the 12/12 at 1"- 3"....Don't change anything on the machine (Except you will want to lower the threshold a bit.....It can give you a headache if you don't).......You will find your-self trusting what the ET is telling you.......You also have to be confidant that you as an E-Trac interpreter are doing a good job of understanding the E-Trac language....................When you have dug $50 worth of clad,,,,,You will feel more confidant in your interpreter role,and will be fully confidant in ETs abilities....
When you have dug $50 in clad....you will notice there will be some silver,,,,Lots of wheats,,,,Tons of memorials,,,,some deep nails,,,and lots of screw caps,,,and pull tabs.....But once you have about $50 in clad.......You will know what you are doing right....and where you need to improve..........Hope this Helps,,,,H.H.
