My '09 stuff...most of it!

Turns out I need to work on keeping track of my finds! LOL.. I have a bunch more of the Coke bottles than are shown but don't know where I put them! Also more relic finds that I have somewhere around the mess I call my garage. Still, here are my better 'non-coin' finds from '09! To be fair, this represents a mix of Silver uMax, Ace250, Scorpion and Xterra finds. The bulk of the finds are Xterra but I didn't ID which belong to which detector.

And these...with the exception of the silver quarters-those were my lucky strike from the bank, not metal detecting finds!

I didn't keep the gold-I'm just not that sentimental! I cashed it in along with some other gold from around the house and went to Colorado for vacation. The bullet was found next to a huge old rotten tree stump near some ruins of an old building. Nobody seems to know what the building was. Rumors are that it was either an infirmary or a house of ill-repute.

Nice. I think we at times get a little sloppy with our finds. I have been looking for months for a silver lid I found with the Chicago skyline from the late 1800's. Oh well, new year coming up.

Thanks! I've only really been serious about detecting for the last year. Before then I went every so often and never did well (bad locations). Once I decided I wanted an Xterra, I sold the other detectors to pay for it! I then decided that the Xterra was going to pay me the value of what I had invested in the other detectors-it did!! The Xterra's next job is to fund an Excal... :minelab::super:

Dude you got more GOLD than I did, for sure. I got zip on the gold and only 1 tiny silver ring.

Jeff

Nice finds. I like Turnmaster only found one silver ring.

The gold necklace I found at a tot-lot, I had to get my feet wet for the rings! It's kinda stressful wading with a LAND detector, but the gold is in the WATER! The new year will require me to find better places to hunt if I expect to dig up an Excal's worth of finds! One clue though..I'll be getting a lot of sand in my shoes!

LOL-21 years and all I got was a lousy coffee cup!
