MXTers question

MXT and the X-50
Everyone is saying the x-50 would only pick up a certain size nugget.
I have no intention of buying a Whites GMT. I am told it will pick up gold nuggets the MXT won't be able to find. SInce I am not all that interested in the prospecting anyway I'm fine with the MXT.
HOWEVER
The same thing is being said about the x-70. It will pick up nuggets the x-50 will not be able to find. My deduction (it may be faulty) is that the x-50 is to the x-70 as the MXT is to the Whites GMT. It seems to me then I would be fine with the x-50 UNLESS the x-70 can do things the x-50 cannot.

WHat do you think? Some of you probably have experience with the x-50/

I find that really hard to believe, that the X-50 or the X-70 will out perform the MXT for gold nuggets. I have tried the X-70, it is an awesome general purpose detector like the MXT, but I still have to give the edge to the MXT. Just my opinion, see the link below.

Due to it's higher frequency the GMT will find smaller gold than the MXT but the lower frequency of the MXT should give greater depth giving the MXT the edge for possibly finding larger deeper nuggets the GMT may not see. It is all dependent on the objective you want to achieve.
