I have been lurking on your site enjoying the tips.. But not posting lol..
I own an MXT and have a couple coils but have stayed with the stock 950 for now with it being winter and I can't dig deeply here in Connecticut..
Ground is still frozen so I have been detecting area beaches and yesterday after searching about 90 minutes of hitting quarters, nickels and dimes I had a fairly strong but shallow target and figured it was a pulltab, but it turned out to be better..
I used MD year's ago but owned a toy an old BH from radioshack and last year got the itch back to detect again.. So I researched the detectors on the market and settled for a MXT and I love it.. Its easy to use and understand <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
Here are my finds for 90 minutes of MDing on a beach with wind howling and it being in low 20's temp's...

Its 12 degree's out and I am headed out the door in a few minutes to hit the same beach.. Once I hit the high tide mark is where I started hitting the targets... At least there is no wind to speak of lol...
