Got my new MXT today. Did a few test in my test garden and I was impressed. Went to the beach and that's where I got frustrated. Took a while to get settings to a smooth sweep. My first target was this silver ring with stones. It was in the wet wet sand. When I dug my first scoop water came to the top but keep getting signal. After about four scoops out pops this( silver) ring. Not sure how deep it was because I'm new to a whites and it is different . I did get frustrated some so went and got my sovereign. Not more ring so should have stayed with Mxt. Will do better next time if we still have a beach to hunt after Frances. Looking forward to next hunt.

a relative around Fort Meyers area. She made it through the last one. Hope all goes well for everyone down there as the storm moves in. I hate it when we get Tornadoes here in Colorado. Happy hunting and enjoy the new toy.

Congratulations Tom,great first find with the mxt, let us know what you think of it in the wet sand when you have gotten used to it.
As i said for wet sand its a bit noisy for me, otherwise i think its the best land machine that i have had up to now. Cheers Raoul
