mxt with the 4x6 coil

i have used an mxt with the small coil and found it to be more fun detecting than the 950 ,you may not cover as much ground but the ground you search always yeilds something even if it,s only clad jmho jim
 
The 4X6 is killer in the tot lot's,isn't it?:detecting: I use my bigger coil out on the playground.So many kids loaded down with coins,doing cartwheels,slinging those coins all over for me to find :biggrin:.Sometimes(when using the 4X6) i have to crank down the gain because of the poles in the tot lots. I love the 4X6
 
I've found the 4X6 is great for pulling goodies out of trashy areas that are next to impossible to hunt with the larger coils. Nicer to swing, too. The small size forces one to hunt a bit more slowly and thoroughly (not a bad thing) and separates the goodies while slipping thru trash extremely well. I love mine.
