having used the MXT family line since its first release, I am more than pleased with my MXT All-Pro. I really liked the enhancements they gave the MXT Pro, now the MXT All-Pro,

I have the M6 which I can toggle into a single tone unit where it stays...I have no use for a multi-tone unit and I would like to purchase the MXT Pro...Does the MXT Pro offer a single tone...
The original MXT has a single tone audio in the Coin & Jewelry mode, or a 1-tone or 2-tone choice in the Relic mode.
The MXT Pro/MXT All-Pro have incorporated the 7-Tone ID of the M6 in the Coin & Jewelry mode so you can select 1-tone or 7-tones. I seldom use the multi-Tone ID preferring a single tone in C&J. Most of the time, however, I hunt in the Relic mode and use the 2-Tone option, either with Discrimination set to reject iron nails, or at a zero Disc. setting for Iron ID with a Low-Tone and non-ferrous producing a pleasant High-Tone response.
I hunt during the night in hot summer months, and now that we are into fall and winter and it's getting darker sooner, I also hunt when it is darker so the MXT All-Pro's back-lighted display is also handy. Also, the MXT All-Pro provides me with Ground Grab for a handy touch-pad activated auto GB, and also different from the original MXT, you can lock the trigger toggle forward in an All Metal Pinpoint function. Handy for sampling handfuls of dirt, etc.
I used to use an M6 as well with my MXT, but I rely on my MXT All-Pro as my all-purpose detector and the MX5 took the place of the M6 in my personal arsenal. I just got a hardly used MXT All-Pro that I might use as a 'back-up' detector just to mount different coils on it and my regular use unit. I am sure you would find the MXT All Pro to be a great compliment to your M6 as it does provide extra adjustments and search options to the M6.
