MXT vs XLT

Does anyone who has had or used both the MXT and XLT have a comparison on depth using a stock 950 coil? Also any other comparisons between the two and which you prefer.
 
[size=large]something i picked up on was that the higher kzh don't penetrate as deep, coil for coil. some will say it's all in the adjustments and if comparing me against a long time user that would be true. and it will be said it depends on what you're after. the mxt has the reputation of being much better on hitting gold.i look forward to hearing from the gurus. Monte is the only one i know who has the experience to compare the two for depth side by side, 950 vs 950. there are others out there but i don't know who. leaving out the targets i think you want to know can one machine be adjusted to go deeper than the other? just that one question..
i too am very interested in that answer.
