MXT Vs MXT Pro

Blind Dr

New member
I haven't found any discussions yet, or maybe I just did not search properly. How about some input from you guys using an MXT. Which is better? I realize there are some differences but does the tone id make much difference to you? I like it on my M6 but I don't have the field time and I have never used the MXT yet.

The MXT lacks the tone ID that the M6 has and the MXT Pro has the tone ID as well as a back light for night hunting and a ground grab feature.

Here is more info: http://whiteselectronics.com/mxt-pro.html

If I remember right,
The MXT with trigger pushed forward in the C & J mode, is a notch for pull tabs.....some will still sneak in with the nickel...

The Pro in the C & J mode and the trigger pushed forward, locks the unit in all metal..

The back lite is handy....

The ground grab is also handy, like after you have gb locked and hunting, to re GB, just hit ground grab and hold it for a while, and while you are swinging, then release it.

Just depends on your hunting style.

[size=large]over-all the pro has more to offer. if you don't use the new options then you still have a basic mxt.
what's not to love?
