MXT vs M6 Nugget Hunting

Since they both run the same freq. would the M6 keep up with the MXT hunting for nuggets?
Whatcha all think?

IF ... and only IF ... they are set up the same. That is, if you're hunting with minimum Discrimination and the same Sensitivity setting, and the Ground Balance is set for the same ground and locked ... I have found them to hunt the same. I am referring to the MXT in the Coin & Jewelry mode and the M6 in the center-toggle position so each produces a single audio tone, and making sure each is using the same search coil.

I have detected some rather small surface nuggets with each model in similar conditions, and they both do well.

Other than that, the natural advantage goes to the MXT since it has the dedicated "Prospecting" mode (All Metal) and the operator can control the Threshold setting as well as the S.A.T. (auto-tune) setting.
