MXT vs. F-75 for Relic Hunting?

Has anyone ever compared the MXT to the F-75 for relic hunting? Or are there any former MXT owners that are now using an F-75, that could give me an honest comparison?

I have used an MXT extensively for about three + years now. I also use a T2 on occasion. In relationship to the F75 both are excellent machines and probably the two most popular among relic hunters. However, I always seem to return to the MXT. It's a reliable workhorse. The F75 (T2) performs excellently in trashy areas with target separation (I think mainly due to the DD coil). The MXT does well with the 4x6 or the 6x10 in similar situations. True relic hunting requires a well built tough machine that can take abuse and with all due respect the F75 / T2, IN MY OPINION, is not it. I've been using White's products since 1987 so forgive me if I'm a little biased. Hope this helps.

I have no first hand experience with the MXT, but do with the F75. I've had mine for a year now and hunt almost daily and have well over 1000 hours with the machine and have yet to experience the first problem with it. Hence, abuse and toughness seemingly is not an issue and it is very light weight and could be swung all day. HH jim tn
