Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm an MXT user and have been for 2 years now. I've been detecting for 24 years off and on. Look forward to learning and seeing what everyone thinks of the MXT.
 
The MXT is a no-nonsense, easy to use detector. To put it in simple words... I LOVE IT!!! The style of hunting I do (RELIC) the MXT performs brilliantly. Match it up with a 12" Hotshot coil and it's hard to beat unless you have a Nautilus or Tesoro Tejon. Those two detectors will out do me on depth, I've seen it first hand but that's okay, I find enough to keep me happy for a long long time.
 
The only drawback I see with the MXT is, I wish it had a backlight. I love to hunt late evening and sometimes I'll find a terrific spot finding bullets and buttons only to have the sun go down. I then have to switch over to my DFX and use the backlight.
 
and since I mainly coin shoot parks, schools, yards, sporting fields and beach, I'm not sure the MXT is the best machine for this type of hunting. I rarely relic hunt or prospect, being in central Florida, there isn't a whole lot of good relic sites and not much gold either.

I mainly hunt with the Coinstrike & CZ5's. But the MXT seems to be a great machine.
