Please excuse my ignorance but I recently purchased a used MXT. The Upper unit containing the LCD screen tilts to the left when the unit is held in my right hand. My GMT unit does not. Is this normal or is my unit just the "tiltin Hiltin"? The screen is solid and the unit works GREAT!

MXT Upper Unit Tilt Question

No, it is not supposed to tilt. Been swinging mine over 5 years with no tilting going on. I would say it's bent.

I dropped my detector once and it did bend the display. Just bend it back. Gently.... HH Dennis in Idaho

Mine leans to the right just the smallest bit. Never noticed till I looked after reading this post. Doesn't seem to hurt anything.
