MXT/ trigger

Cliff60

New member
On one of the statements that Captain Hook made; I have noticed that many MXT users search for coins in the relic mode with the trigger locked forward. I think I also read that many lock the ground balance. I did not lock the ground balance last time out. I will try some new setup's next time out.

I didn't know that you could lock the switch forward while looking for coins.. Is there anything else that you can do with this machine that I'm not aware of?

Hi cliff60, I've hunted relic/trigger forward for the last 1 1/2 years. I don't usually lock my GB tho, as I go from sand to wood chips to grass quite often.
I've found a lot more using relic mode than C/J after I learned my MXT pretty good. Furthur good luck and HH :clapping: floridason KC

I use the trigger set forward zero discrimmination full sensitivity 5x10 DD coil it's a killer for early coins. It works awsomme made some great finds:clapping:

Hey, thanks all for the input, I guess I'll have to get out there and try some new things with this.. Thanks Again!

I hunt in relic mode trigger forward, BUT I don't lock the ground. KEEP IT on track!!! Don't look at the meter,as deep coin will not ID correctly. I've had deep silver come in with a VDI around 10/14. Just LISTEN to the sound!! Nice small solid constistent beep. JMO
