MXT Threshold

Hello All,
I've noticed that the threshold on the MXT will null out over what seem to be iron targets, and in the test garden it will null out over deep coins. Is this normal, or just a fluke. Any input would be appreciated.

I hope it is normal because I have noticed the same thing out of mine. I have also found on a deeper coin that relic mode will give a beep on a coin that only changes the threshold in coin mode, did this at the beach in sand. Guess that is one reason it is hard to keep a smooth threshold in heavy iron trash.

Sounds like your Discrimination may be a bit too high and maybe too much sensitivity causing the ground reaction to mask or null the deep coin. <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":(">
