MXT - Terrific!

I bought my MXT last fall, and had no sooner taken it out of the box, when the snows and ice arrived. I found a nice warm place for it in my office in the basement where it hung until about a week ago. The snows are just now going in this neck of the woods, and so I took it out Saturday and played around a little. I got some coins and a few bits of jewellery and scattered them about on the lawn to get a little used to the grunts, beeps, graphics, etc. I made a few notes on a card for future reference too. There were lots of spring chores to do all weekend, but then last night after supper off I went. Only an hour of light was left, so I just went up a path heading off behind the house. Well I was truly amazed. All the readings were right on. I picked up a looney, a dime, and a penny in short order. Not a great treasure, but certainly a promise of things to come.
It seems that a lot of things you buy today really aren't what they're cracked up to be, but I'm sure delighted with my MXT.

enjoy - its an amazing detector - just play with one produced 20 years ago to appreciate the advancements!
