MXT Sun Ray Probe

I am thinking about getting a Sun Ray Probe. However, I was wondering how it works when you can
 
I just purchased one a couple weeks ago, its takes some getting used to. unless you pull the trigger your still in the discrimination mode and the probe still shows the discrimination on your screen. The best thing about it is its attached to your detector and you don't have to carry something around with you that needs extra batteries. I think its worth it.......Jaret
 
I feel it works excellent and wouldnt be without it. What I do is once you pinpointed with the MXT you know where the target is. If it is shallow I just use the probe in disc to find the area where it is, then I will use my other hand and pull the trigger and hold it back to put the detector into pinpoint which will put the probe into pinpoint to do my fine pinpointing. If it is deep I will dig out a plug and go into the hole in disc and do the same thing for fine pinpointing
