Here is one old ring I'm was proud to find with my MXT. It was in a very trashy area. I'm new to this hobby. I'm hoping to pick up some tips so I do not miss any of the good stuff.
 
To get that ring, you gotta be doing something right!
Wish I'd found something like that when I was new....

hey,
i hunt for gold rings mostly in prospect mode. the lady's gold rings come in around 10 to 16 on the id. some come in at 57 to63. in prospect you know what everything is under you. learn the #'s for coins and tabs and enjoy the newfound fun.try it you will enjoy the many good finds.small chains come in from -6 to 19.
