MXT Sounds

I have a MXT and use Grey Ghost Ultimate headphones. I don't hear any difference (C&J mode)in the sounds various objects make. I know my hearing is not the best after 55 years, what do the rest of you hear?

I don't think there are different tones in this mode. Relic mode has hi low, ferrous/nonferrous. In the CJ mode you might have to increase disc and trigger forward. I prefer relic cross check with the other modes. Hope this helps.

As I learned this machine in CJ and look at the VDI a lot I have a hard time getting comfortable in relic mode. Usually when I get a dime/penny with a strong bar 70% of the time it's a dime 30% a penny. NIckels come in at 18 and somestimes 16 or 20, but usually 18 is golden. As I mostly look for coins I use CJ. Will look for gold this January in TX, AZ and NM. Happy Holidays,
