MXT sound pinpoint

I've looked at vedo doesn't tell me much. Havn't read manual. Who reads that?
But can.t get bell tone when in C/J I hit sound botton not much differents in sound.
Pinpoint I can have target right on ground and just look at detector lesen for sound, when I look I'll be a mile off
 
It sounds like now would be a good time to read the manual............:shocked: Bell tone? Sound button?
 
Are you talking about the MXT or the MXT Pro?

Not sure I understand the question,,,,but when you pinpoint make sure you move your coil away from the target to the left or right before you pull the pp trigger or it want do right.
