Kelly P

New member
Hi all!Been a member now for going on mmm 10 minutes.Need some sage advice.I'm now living in rural Nv.High mineral soil content.I have a MXT and would like some advice on proper settings in disc, gain etc.Any help would be a huge benefit. Thanks,Kelly

Hi Kelly and welcome to the forum. As for the setting on your MXT, it all depends on what type of detecting you're going to do. It's a very easy machine to learn and the more you use it, the more you'll love it. HH, Nancy

just out this morning on the 40 mile desert in Churchill co. first off the mxt is awesome for Nevada, if it says hot rock its right don't bother digging ,I run in relic or C&J with no disc and lock it after ground balancing it and then rebalance every so often .I don't know what your looking for I don't prospect with it but go after relics and meteorites
