I have used my MXT for coin hunting which I run it in the Relic mode. But I have not used it very much in relic hunting. Is there a good seeting for the MXT in CW relic hunting that most prefer over other settings? The coin mode for me is just way too much noise. Thanks for any helpfull info guys.

I much prefer the Relic mode, if for no other reason than the tone of accepted targets is very easy to distinguish - you need only to listen carefully to the tone to see if it's a solid tone or if it's clipped. I also usually run the trigger forward to notch out the rejected tones, just to keep the machine a little quieter. Also, when I'm in a field that may yield just about any type of relic, turn that Disc down to 0 and dig everything. I would experiment with the trigger forward and trigger in the center position to see what you like the best.
