MXT Pro w/ 950 coil = tiny bit of silver ! :detecting:

Went hit an old school site yesterday p.m. This site has been 'hunted' over and over again by others thru the years. Hadn't really used my recently purchased 950 coil much but decided to give it a try. Man, it worked really well as i found a few deep quarters, nickles, dimes and pennies in a 2 hr period (Mostly 70s).... All at good depth (one nickle 1948 but pretty beat up). Looking back, I must say that the Jeff Foster's book has helped me alot. 2 of the dimes were 1965 :ranting: and finally ...... :clapping: one 1961 D Rosie ! A tiny bit of silver ! It looked good coming out of the hole, cleaned up nicely, and sure does shine bright among these old clad coins. :drinking: Gonna work that 950 coil more with the MXT Pro. Picked up some good deep signals in pretty dry soil. Thanks for looking. CCH

the 950 is a very sensible and unrated coil, some times I use to pick smaller pieces of metal with the 950 than with the 6x10. The downside is not being appropriate for moderated and highly trashy areas

Congratulations on the silver dime. They're sure pretty when you're looking down in the dirt at them. Nice amount of clad too. I love my 9.5 stock coil and us it probably 99% of the time. HH, Nancy

CCH I wouldn't call a silver rosie "tiny" by any means. That's a genuine, certified 100% authentic silver coin ! Congratulations.

Congrats those are great finds and with the stock coil it is a good coil . The silver rosie is silver so just as good as any silver coil .
