MXT Pro still has it .........

I got a Racer earlier in the year and have been using it almost all the time. My poor MXT Pro has been sitting in the corner collecting dust........so this morning got up real early to beat the heat. Loaded the dogs and MXT Pro and headed to a somewhat close by ghost town. Did a morning hunt and snagged a nice trade token, GF 5 cents Pastime Cigar Store, New Plymouth Idaho and a nice 1910 Barber Half. Even the dog was impressed and had to take a look lol Guess the ol' MXT still has what it takes. Was using the 9" spider coil, gain at 9, disc at 3, C&J Mode. But I will always have my MXT Pro, just great machines and will never sell.

oops, sorry meant to post this under the MXT Forum...........

Its rare in these old desert ghost towns that coins get very deep. The half was less then 2" deep. What makes it hard sometimes is the amount of iron, rusted tin etc that you have to deal with.

I figured you had your dog trained to sniff it out, nice Barber and token, pictures are great!

LOL don't tell anyone...........after he sniffed it out I posed the coin with the MXT......guess I'm busted :)

Some really nice finds, the MXT is a very good all round machine

Is the dog recovering your find a 'Pointer'

Nice finds with the MXT. Sniffer dog finds the silver.:wiggle:

Thanks guys......but yes I agree the M6 and MXT Pro has found me a lot of old coins and trade tokens and other artifacts. There great machines and hard to beat.
