MXT Pro & New 9" Spider Coil gives me a first.

Took the MXT Pro with the new 9" Spider coil, that I got from Monte, out today to the old site I was last were I got a 1883 IH Penny. Wanted to give the coil another workout and I must say its a keeper.......it found me a 1891 O Morgan Dollar. Geez, my dollar readings on the detector always end up being lids off old Ponds face cream cans etc.......I think I went in shock for a few minutes when I realized what was in the hole. First off the ground today was frozen so I had to carry a rock with me today that I found and use it as a hammer to pound on my digger to chisel away the frozen dirt. The dirt would break away in chunks, being frozen, so I would chisel some loose and then the last chunk I removed from the hole I seen the exposed edge of the coin and realized what I had. Thats when shock set in a few minutes and then I carefully chiseled it out of the frozen ground. So gotta say I guess Im gonna like this new coil and the MXT Pro that I got from Monte.
 
I've got to say Congratulations on that morgan silver dollar, never found one myself but glad to see you found one.
That must have been a rush to see that big old silver edge sticking out of the ground, thanks for showing it.

That is OUT STANDING.
I have only found 2 silver dollars and they were in the 1970s.
There is nothing like the feel of a silver dollar in your hand. Except maybe two.
That is real money. Great find.
Hope you find more with your lucky 9.
 
That is one FANTASTIC find. I would have been so excited I would have had to change underwear after that one! And man that thing is nice shape! Monte sold you a winner, that's for sure.
 
Thanks guys for the replies, ya it was an exciting find for me. I love my M6 for simplicity but the MXT Pro is a great machine. If I was told I could have only one machine and one machine only, it would have to be the MXT Pro because of its versatility. You would be covered for most types of hunting. You have a threshold adjustment, a back light etc etc. Good coil selection. Its a hard machine to beat. Yep Monte sold me a great machine :)
