Even with the new features I think Whites has still missed the mark by not putting the "Mode and Trac" switches on the meter where they can be operated with your thumb. I have one of the first MXTs that came on the market and I modified it many years ago and have never regretted it. Just something to think about in the future.
 
Nice work Mel. That's a great idea. One hand operation of these controls would be a really nice feature to streamline checking targets, ground balance, etc. MXT Pro ll ?

Did I hear someone at Whites design team say ..... "why didn't I think of that " !!
