I put it together and can't wait to get it out. I put the 8x6 sef coil on it. I put the 5.3 v-rated coil on my V3i . Can't wait to nicer weather hits and off to compare a little with DD and conc. Coils on these rigs. Have to say MXT-Pro is very simple to the settings. GS

Have fun with it bro. Mxt Pro is my all time favorite detector. I have found more nickels with this machine than any other. Its a deep seeking machine too.

Congratulations on your MXT Pro. You're going to love it.

I'm with you, I sure wish Spring would come fast so we all could get out and do some detecting. For now we can sit back and do some researching as to where we'll be swinging that coil. HH, Nancy

Compare the SEF DD and the 6½" Concentric against each other ON THE SAME DETECTOR. Not SEF on MXT All-Pro and 6½" on the V3i as the detectors work differently. Use both coils on the same detectors. Better info, too, as you can compare the DD vs Concentric on the V3i, which is super-digital designed, and the DD and Concentric on the MXT All-Pro which has more of an analog/digital blend behavior to it.

Use the same naturally located target (not a plant) and work both detectors with both coil across the target from the same position and sweep direction prior to target recovery. Take a note pad to log your results, then share them with folks here on the MXT Users Forum.

Thanks,

Monte
