MXT PRO at the beach

The MXT PRO is on my short list of possible detectors to buy. I do some detecting at the beach and was wondering how it reacts to wet salty sand? I heard the VX3 may be better but I like the things I have heard about the PRO(ease of use). Plus price is a factor. Thanks for any input on this.

mxt pro has a salt water tracking switch for ground balancing to help in salt water areas. I live in Michigan which is a fresh water state - I find coins and even found a watch last sunday (Allude made in Japan) looks like diamond studs on the face. I will have it appraised.

I would stick with the MXT. I have hunted in salt water and I had great success. HH, Nancy
