MXT over M6?

I hunted for MANY years with White's, and found alot of stuff. Recently went to Tesoro. I really miss the features of multiple-tone and visual reference. A friend bought a used XLT, and I took my Cibola with him on a recent hunt. Only then did I realize how bad I missed my old Spectrum. We mostly relic hunt, with some beaches, also. If I buy a new one, should I get the MXT or the M6? Thanks.............

n/t

MXT is somewhat more versatile and gets my vote.

Thanks for the info! I've noticed that there isn't alot of difference in price between the MXT and the XLT. I'm leaning towards the MXT at this time, but that's subject to change.........Thanks again, Folks..

im the same way.i have a prizm iv and dont know which one i want mxt or m6.its been tearing me up inside.once i decide i hear good stuff on the other. i think i need help lol.

Well, it seems that there is only about a 100.00 margin separating these machines, and that adds to my dilema. And I wonder how the Prism v stacks up to the m6? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and it appears that the XLT is actually lighter than the MXT. But I like the way that White's machines are balanced. Not like the older ones I used years ago. How deep did your Prism go, under good soil conditions?

Lots more options..........Not trying to back you in a corner..just thought you might have got the letters mixed up, in your machines...

I only said there wasn't alot of difference in the price of the two. I've pretty much decided on the MXT. I know that the XLT is a step above the MXT. But I really don't need alot of extra features. I used a White's Spectrum for 10 years, and liked it.

Yes Sir, not a big difference and the MXT is a nice detector that will serve you very well..Good luck with all your hunts
