MXT or MXT 300

Question?

Those who use the MXT all say they love it!

After the reviews, I purchased the MXT
Now I notice there is a MXT 300

What's the real difference in these two machines?
My MXT says e-series on it?

How much better is the MXT300
Kellyco has it about $100 more than the MXT

Should I quickly upgrade while I am in their 14 day period
to upgrade without penalty?

Thanks for your imput

Hi Larry,I recently bought mxt 300..only difference from what i read is that 300 case is powder coated and comes with 300mm coil versus 9.5 stock coil. For cost i would probaly stay with mxt with 9.5 coil...300mm coil is a nice coil ,but is heavy after few hours of use..and would be great for wide field areas with low trash content and 9.5 more versatile...it all depends on what your main hunting areas are i guess...my 2 cents worth...Curt

IMHO you'll do better to add a 5.3 and/or 6X10 coil to the 9.5 that comes with the standard MXT than having the 12" coil that comes on the 300 unless you really need a larger coil to cover a lot of trash free ground.
